Album culte de Springsteen à la célèbre pochette, comprenant 7 singles : born in the USA, glory days, dancing in the dark... La batterie cogne sec... les refrains accrochent l'oreille... Un grand moment de pop-rock, avec également quelques titres plus lents, d'inspiration country.
